Our Gardens

The hacienda sits on sacred Incan land, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and the occasional condor flying overhead. The gardens are among the most treasured parts of Hacienda Paucartika, offering places to rest, reflect, and integrate during your stay.

Stone pathways guide you through fruit trees, herbs, flowers, and vegetable gardens that provide much of the fresh food we serve. Along the way, you’ll come across hammocks, fire pits, and quiet corners ideal for journaling, meditation, or simply connecting with nature.

These outdoor spaces can be arranged to fit the needs of each group, with mats, chairs, or other setups for yoga, workshops, or gatherings. A stone stage also welcomes musicians, speakers, and other presenters, making the gardens a versatile part of the retreat venue.

Our internal garden has been described as a “Garden of Eden,” filled with an abundance of fruits, flowers, and healing plants. It carries the feeling of being cradled by nature, creating a sanctuary of peace and reflection in the heart of the Andes.
